Helsinki Cathedral

This is a picture that I took of the Helsinki Catherdral. It is a beautiful white church building. It was built in the mid 1800s. I heard it referred to as the White Church.
Helsinki has many older buildings and is an interesting place to walk around. When I was there, we parked near the harbour and spent the day strolling the streets. There are plenty of coffee shops, stores and small resturants to visit, as well as the wonderful buildings.

Tampere Train Station

This is a picture of the tracks leading into the train station in Tampere. Although, I am not as fanatical as some people I know, I love trains. As long as I can remember, I have been interested in them.

Europe is a great place to travel by train. The schedules, service and coverage is many times better than North America. It is a great way to see the countryside without having to drive yourself. Take the train, and relax.
